Wishing is Great! Action is Greater!

Sharing is Caring!

We all make wishes. We all have dreams. That’s the easy part. The challenge is acting on those visions for a better life.

Those dandelion seeds floating on a dreamy summer breeze…oh, so romantic and sweet (enter unicorns and rainbows here). But eventually those dandy seeds get crackin’ on the business of landing, hunkering down, germinating and growing up to be an effing brilliant being!
Putting the work in to support our dreams is crucial.

It can be hard. It requires motivation, focus, chutzpah! I know…dreaming and wishing can be so much more appealing…but if we don’t act on those fluffy dream-seeds we’re blowing into the universe…ain’t much gonna happen for us. Just sayin’.

Now…when I say ‘take action’…I’m not talking some grandiose master-mind plot for world domination. I’m not talking about titanic, epic, crazy nutzo actions either. I mean…you can do that stuff…if you’re into that sort of thing.

But most of the time, it just takes a collection of itsy bitsy baby steps towards our dreams. Those tiny steps add up to tremendous outcomes. I’m talking simple stuff like cleaning up our living areas or our office. I’m not a slob…but sometimes my office gets out of control. Some of the most revolutionary shifts in my life have happened when I made the simple effort to organize my messes.

Other simple actions can make a difference, like writing down ideas that might bring us closer to our dreams. You might be surprised at how effective this can be. How about making a few phone calls or sending emails to folks in your dream-league. Ask for advice. Get more ideas to feed the dream.

All this to say you don’t have to take out a gazillion dollar loan and plop it on your dream to make it come true. 9 times out of 10, it’s our COMMITMENT to our dreams, and taking little steps to get us realizing our dreams into reality.

What do you think? What steps are YOU taking towards realizing your visions?

As always, thanks for reading!
